This adaptor will allow your Harris bipod to attach directly to a picatinny rail. Simply remove the Harris sling stud attachment assembly and install this system. The process takes less than 1 minute and allows a quick attach/detach of your Harris bipod from your Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny Rail.
